SUNY Korea

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in South Korea approved the establishment of SUNY Korea in 2012, a partnership in Songdo, South Korea to be operated by SUNY Korea, LLC.

The Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Program at SUNY Korea was established in 2015. It will be seeking ABET accreditation after the first group of students graduates, retroactive to the year in which the first group of students graduated from the program.

* In parallel to Stony Brook University residency requirements for the BE in Mechanical Engineering,  SUNY Korea mechanical engineering students must complete MEC 300, MEC 316, MEC 317,  MEC 440, MEC 441 at SUNY Korea.
