Every student, staff, and faculty member of the Department of Physics and Astronomy has the right to feel safe and to be treated with respect. The Department's Diversity committee is charged with addressing diversity and inclusion issues and to help build a healthier community for everyone.

We encourage anyone to contact the Diversity Committee to share ideas or concerns.

Community Resources

The American Physical Society (APS) and American Astronomical Society (AAS) are the main professional organizations for our Department. They produce a number of reports about diversity, inclusion, and the state of our field. We link to some of these below.
