Mission Statement

The CEAS Student Internship provides an insightful experience that allows students to support their peers while learning more about academic advising and student engagement in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. The CEAS Student Internship provides impassioned students with the opportunity to grow and develop as leaders and professionals, by improving upon their transferable skills, while also providing assistance to others.

CEAS Student Internship Goals

• Engage with students, student leaders, faculty, and staff in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Stony Brook University

• Learn about the operations and resources of the CEAS Undergraduate Student Office

• Assist with the planning and execution of various college-wide events and initiatives

• Gain career competencies in: communication, time management, problem solving, professionalism, digital technology, teamwork, leadership and peer education
